5 HANGING THE F AN Step 3. T o hang th e fan bod y in the canopy , hold th e fan bod y firmly and in- sert the ball in to the canopy openin g. Check that n o wires were pin ched . Ro- tate the f an body un til the slot in the ball fits into th e pin opposite the can opy opening.
