Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops. The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downr od.

Using a hammer , tap a dr ywall anchor found in the wall contr ol hardware bag into each hole until the drywall anchor is ush with the wall.

Connect the white wire from the fan to the whit e wire from the light kit assembly . Note: Be sure to use the CERAMIC wire connectors to a void re hazard .
