Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops. The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downr od.

Lightly attach the blade irons to the motor with screws found in the hardware bag , then securely tighten after both screws are attached .

Mak e sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors. Lift the lower switch housing up until the holes line up with the screw holes in the upper switch housing .
