3 PREP ARA TION INSTRUCTIONS U npackin g: Befor e assembling and in stalling your ceilin g fan, r emove all parts from the shippin g cartons and ch eck them against th e parts listed here . Before discar ding packaging m aterial, be certain that all parts have been r emoved .

5 5 CANOPY ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Step 4a. Attach the fan wires to the ceiling fixture outlet box wiring by placin g the bare ends of the wir es sid e by sid e and then securin g with a wir e n ut. T est that the conn ection is secure by pullin g on the wire n ut.

Insert a rubber gromm et through each blade h ole of every blad e . Inspect both sid es of th e blade to assure that the lips o f the grommet ar e fully engaged .
7 BLADE/BLADE HOLDER INST ALLA TION Step 12. U sing th e five scr ews removed in Step 11, and th e five addition al screws fr om the pack, attach each blad e/blade hold er as- sembly to the m otor . U sin g the screwd river , tighten secur ely by hand only .
8 COMPLETING INST ALLA TION Step 14. If your fan is a V ersa•T ouch 2 mod el, please skip to Step 15. For 3-Speed mod els, hold th e switch hous- ing up to th e fan an d conn ect the m otor plug to the switch h ousing socket. Th e connector is k eyed to ensur e correct in- stallation.
