3 PREP ARA TION INSTRUCTIONS Unpackin g: Befor e assembling and in stalling your ceilin g fan, r em ove all parts from the shippin g cartons and ch eck them against th e parts listed here . Before discar ding pack aging materi al, be certain that all parts have been rem oved.
4 CAUTION: T o reduce the risk of personal injury , use only the mounting hardw are pr ovided with the appro ved outlet bo x to install the crossbar mounting br acket.
5 CANOPY ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Step 4a. Attach th e fan wir es to the ceilin g fixture outlet box wirin g by placing th e bare en ds o f the wir es sid e by sid e and th en securin g with a wire nut. T est that the connecti on is secure by pullin g on the wir e nut.
6 RUBBER GROMMET (4 PER BLADE) BLADE SCREW (4 PER BLADE) BLADE & BLADE HOLDER HARDW ARE BLADE HOLDER BLADE HOLDER SCREW (2 PER BLADE) Step 9. Insert a rubber gr ommet through each blade h ole o f every blade . Inspect both sid es of th e blade to assure that the lips o f the grommet ar e fully engaged .
7 BLADE/BLADE HOLDER INST ALLA TION Step 12. Usin g the five screws rem oved in Step 11, and th e five addition al screws fr om the pack, attach each blad e/blade hold er as- sembly to the m otor . Usin g the screwd river , tighten secur ely by hand only .
