INSTALLATION This section describes t he unpacking and insta llation procedures for your new component. Unpacking All Cary Audio Design ship ping containers have been specially designed to protect their contents and special care has been take n to prevent dama ge und er normal shipping co nditions.
OPERATION Signal input connection is made via the input ja cks o n the re ar of the SLI 80 located on the rea r panel. The interc onnect cable s from the output of the CD player, tuner, etc. can be any convenient length your set-up requires . The choice of a high q uality i nterconnect cable is important.
SERVICE AND CARE The chassis may be cleaned with a soft towel and Wi ndex® or a s imilar window cleaner. Spra y it on the cleaning cloth to moiste n it , not on the component. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals to clean the preamplifier. They ma y rem ove the labels from the chassis.
