7 Interconnect Cables Signal input connection is made via th e RCA input jack on the rear of the amplifier locat ed next to the output binding posts. The i nput interconnect cables from the output of the preamplifier can be any length your installation requires.
8 SERVICE AN D C ARE ________________________________________________ The chassis may be cleaned with a soft towel and Win dex® (or a similar window cleaner). Spray it on the cleaning cloth to m oisten it, not o n the component. Do n ot use solvents or harsh chemi cals as they ma y remove the labels from the chassis.
9 CAUTION Never remove or insert the AC plug when the unit is on or the AC power switch is in the “ON” position. Obstruction of the top portion of the amplif ier will result in the tubes overheat ing.
10 Diagram s ___________________________________________________________ Insert the ¼” bias meter plug int o the bias jack on the back of the amplifier chassis. Connect the bias cabl e red alligator clip to th e positive (+) connection on yo ur meter.
11 300B Tube Pin Layout The LARGE pair of 300B tube pins should be installed toward the front of th e CAD 211 AE amplifier 300B tube sockets. LOOK CAREFULLY at the tube pin s to be sure that you insert them correctly.
