WELCOME UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION Unpacking Your Cary Audio Design product was shipped in a carton particularly designed to protect its contents, and special care has been taken to prevent damage during shipping. Carefully remove your new component from its packing carton and exam ine it closely for signs of shipping damage.
SPECIFICATIONS 6 Operating the CAD 120S MKII is a simple pr ocedure since each unit is designed for long-term stability in virtually any home ope rating situation. Howe ver, if the unit is operated outside the parameters outlined in this owner’s manual, dam age may occur.

OPERATION Your new CAD 120S MKII power amplifier is ready for operation after the speaker, interconnect cables and the vacuum tubes have been installed into their proper sockets. Refer to the labeling on the chassis for placement and proper tube installation.
OPERATION On the rear panel of the CAD 120S MKII is a bias adjustment potentiometer for each channel. This is a screwdriver slo tted shaft control. After the amplifier has been powered up for a few minutes observe the mete r readings. The proper reading should be 140 ma.
SERVICE AND CARE CARE AND CLEANING Unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Clean the cabinet housing and front panel of the CAD 120S MKII with a soft cloth and a gla ss cleaner.
