W hen using the SITECS937Lab progr am, you will need to choose whic h controller you wish to monitor .
2 Sta tus Scr een 6 At the t op r ight of the window is the Fan Speed status information. I ncluded in the Fan Speed status are Min., Max., and Ignition fan speeds. If Ramp Delay is activat ed, the Ramp Delay limit is sho w n. The target and actual fan speeds are display ed, and if the ac tual speed is within acceptable limits.
7 3 Gr aphics Scr een The Graphics Screen allows y ou to observe the changes in various readings while the heater operates (see FIG. 3-1). N ote that the vertical scale has two numbers for each division.
8 4 F ault Histor y Screen Figure 4-1 Fault History Screen The Fault Hist or y Screen provides historical data about the operation of the SMAR T TOUCH co nt rols.. Click on the Fault history button along the top of the Main Screen window (FIG. 1-1), and then click on Read from Control in the pull-down menu.
9 5 Cascade Screen Figure 5-1 Cascade Screen The Cascade Screen pro v ides the status of the cascade system. The PC must be connect ed to the Leader (address 0-1) appliance. Click on the Cascade button along the top of the Main Scr e en window (FIG. 1-1).
6 P ar ameter s Parameter infor mation screens By acc essing the Parameter I nformation Screens on the SMAR T TOUCH program, the installer can v iew all of the SMAR T TOUCH parameters. The installer can also change certain specific parameters to fine tune the operation of the boiler to the installation.
11 6 P ar ameter s (continued) Changeable par ameter s The following is a brief discussion of the changeable parameters, their default setting s, the range of adjustment, and their location. The title for the par ameters ma y differ slightly from the PC to the boiler displa y .
12 PC Program Instructions 6 P ar ameter s Set 2: Functional Data Set 2 is accessed b y clicking on Parameters at the t op of the Main Scr een window , then clicking on Set 2: Functional Data on the pull-down menu (FIG. 6-1, page 10). Cascade control P arameters 2DJ and 2DK determine the time delays used by the Cascade.
13 PC Program Instructions 6 P ar ameter s (continued) Pa r a m e t e r 2EB sets the pump delay time for the boiler pump after an ov er-temperature c ondition.
14 PC Program Instructions 6 P ar ameter s SH off-on differential (SH off/on df) The SH Off-on Differential sets ho w many degrees below the turn-off temperature the outlet temperatur e has to go before the boiler will turn on. This parameter can be changed b y accessing parameter 4AE .
15 PC Program Instructions 6 P ar ameter s (continued) T ank differential temp This parameter determines how far belo w the tank setpoint the tank sensor temperature must go t o star t a HW call for heat. This setting can be adjusted by accessing parameter 4A T .
16 PC Program Instructions 6 P ar ameter s Cascade Each burner control in the Cascade m ust be given a unique address. This address can be changed by ac cessing parameter 4CC . The Leader (top) burner (to which the thermostat/zone control, system sensor , and system pump (if controlled by the boiler) are c onnected) must be set t o address 0.
17 PC Program Instructions 6 P ar ameter s (continued) Figure 6-10 Parameter Set 4F OA reset water temp at min outdoor temp (4FC) (Reset T Lo Out) W h en the outdoor air t emperature drops to its minimum setting ( 4FC ), the water temperature setpoint will be at this value.
