Check for proper assembly, adjustment, and lubrication.Check to see that there is adequate oil in the oil bath. Check to be sure all bolts and set screws are tight and t he drive belts are at the proper tension.

Do not overload hay content. Kuhn Knight Inc. recommends a maximum of 15% to 20% of unproces sed hay by weight in the load.
