4 Connections Connecting the Antenna NOTES: • Make sure t he FM antenna doe s not touch any ot her terminal s, connecting cords or the AC power cord. Also, keep the ant enna away from meta llic parts of th e unit, conne cting cords and t he AC power cord.
5 Connectin g the Video Co rd to V iew a Vid eo/Pictur e from iPod When vi ewing a video/ pictur e from iPo d on yo ur TV, use a comp osite v ideo co rd (not su pplie d) to connec t the VIDE O OUT jack on the unit and the co mposite video input on your TV.
6 Canceling the Display Demonstration (Demo) When you c onnect the AC power cord for th e first time, the displ ay demonstra tion starts automa tically. • Whe n you operat e the unit , the displa y demon stratio n stops temp orarily. If no operat ion is d one for about 2 minutes, the uni t starts the display demonstra tion ag ain.

NOTES: • When you unplug th e AC power cord or if a power failure occurs, the pre set stations will be erase d in a few days. • If yo u store a new stat ion onto an occ upied preset number, the station previously stored on that number will be erased .
19 Connecting Other Equipment By using a st ereo mini plug cord (not suppli ed), you ca n conne ct other eq uipment wi th analog audio output jacks, su ch as a portabl e audio player, etc. • Refer to the instruction manual su pplied with the eq uipment.
20 Setting the Clock Set the b uilt-in cloc k before usi ng Timer. • You ca n set the cl ock when t he unit is t urned on or on stand by. • To exit from the clock settin g, pr ess CLOCK/TIME R as require d. • To cor rect a mi sentry dur ing the p rocess, pr ess MENU/C ANCEL.
