P age 13 For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. � When cutting heavy grass, r educe walking speed to allow for more effective cutting and a proper discharge of the clippings. Do not cut wet grass.

Make sure it is installed with the curved ends pointing up toward the mower deck and not down toward the ground. Replace the blade insulator and spacer , then thread the blade nut on the shaft and finger tighten.
P age 16 REPLACING WHEELS See Figure 16. T o replace a wheel: Disconnect the mower from the power supply . � T ur n the mower on its side. Using a flat blade screwdriver , pry off the hubcap. Remove the cotter pin fr om the wheel axle, then remove the wheel.
