3 English IMPORT ANT INFORMA TION Read and understand all of the operating instructions, safety precautions and warnings in the Manual before operating or maintaining this power tool. Most accidents that result from tool operation and maintenance are caused by the failure to observe basic safety rules or precautions.
4 English 9. AL W A YS USE EYE PROTECTION WHEN WORKING WITH THE TOOL TO PREVENT EYE INJURY . Ordinary eyeglasses do not provide adequate protection because the lenses are not made of safety glass. Also, use a face mask for additional safety and wear a dust mask if the cutting operation produces dust.
5 English 4. Always handle the POWER TOOL carefully . If the POWER TOOL falls or strikes against a hard object, it might become deformed or cracked or sustain other damage. 5. Always cease operating the saw at once, if you notice any abnormality whatsoever .

11 English BEFORE USING 1. Make sure the power source is appropriate for the tool. W ARNING: Never connect the power tool unless the available AC power source is of the same voltage as that specified on the nameplate of the tool. Never connect this power tool to a DC power source.
12 English BEFORE CUTTING 1. Cutting a groove on the table insert A groove has to be cut in the table insert, before starting opera- tion. Secure a piece of wood about 5" (125 mm) wide to the turnta- ble with the vise (A), to prevent the breakage of the table insert.

44 Espa ñ ol ANTES DEL COR TE 1. Corte de una ranura en el inserto de la mesa Antes de iniciar la operaci ó n, tendr á que realizar un corte en el inserto de la mesa. Asegure una pieza de madera de unos 125 mm (5") de anchura en la mesa giratoria con el tornillo de carpintero (A) para evitar que se rompa el inserto de la mesa.
45 Espa ñ ol 5. Ret é n para precisi ó n de corte (Accesorio est á ndar) El ret é n facilita la precisi ó n del corte continuo en longitudes de 295 a 470 mm (11-5/8" a 18-1/2"). Para instalar el ret é n, f í jelo al soporte con el perno de perilla de 6 mm, como se muestra en la Fig.

47 Espa ñ ol 3. Procedimiento de corte de ingletes (1) Afloje la empu ñ adura lateral y ajuste la mesa giratoria hasta que el indicador quede alineado con el valor deseado de la escala de á ngulo de ingletes (Fig.
