2 LifeBook P7000 Notebook BIOS LifeBook P Series Notebook BIOS BIOS SETUP UTILITY The BIOS Setup Utility is a program that sets up the operating en vironment for y our not ebook. Y our BIOS is set at the factor y for normal operating conditions, therefor e ther e is no need to set or c hange the BIOS en vironment to o perate your n otebook.
3 MAIN MENU - SETTING ST AN DARD SYSTEM P ARAMETERS The Main M enu allows y ou to set or view the current system parameters. F ol low the instructions for N avigating through the Setup Utility to make an y changes.
4 LifeBook P7000 Notebook BIOS Primary Master: Selects Primary Master submenu –— Displays the type of device on this A T A/ A T API interface, if there is one. Press- ing the Enter key selects the Primary Master submenu allowing additional device configuration options for thi s interface.
5 Primary Master Submenu of t he Main Menu The Primary Master submen u identifies which A T A devices are installed. No t e: Actual har d drive label show n may vary . Depending on the drive typ e, information such as cylinders, heads and sectors may also be displayed.

9 Miscellaneous Configurations When selected, opens the Miscellaneous Configurations s ubmenu, w hich allows you to change th e power button, W ake Up On LAN, and V olume settings. Event Logging When selected, opens the Event Logging s ubmenu which lets you view and enable the event log.
