The spring loaded mirror support is easier to ma nufacture and to work wit h.
9 Having the re flected las er beam s ho wi n g sa f ely on the grid plan e you can f inis h the collimation process quickly. Tilt the main mir ror with the help o f the adjustment screws until the l aser b eam passes through t he hole (and is re f lected into itsel f ).
10 In the silver body L ase r C o lli (picture below) no s harp dot is produced by th e reflected laser beam. The alignment pr ocedure itself is exact ly the same as for a Newton optics – only much simpler.
