8 Ser vice Dates MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE Fill in dates as you complete regular ser vice. Check Engine Oil Le vel X Bef ore each use First 5 to 8 hrs. 25 hrs. or e very season 50 hrs. or e very season 100 hrs. or e very season Y early * Change oil e very 25 hours when operating the engine under heavy load or in high temperatures .
9 Check tr ansmission oil lev el after rst 5 hours of operation. Remove oil ll plug (gure 10). Oil lev el must be e ven with the plug hole (with tiller le vel).
10 Shut off (disengage) the Tine Clutch Le ver , the Tiller Engine and the T ractor Engine bef ore making any repairs. Replace V -belt if it has been damaged considerab ly from slipping under heavy loads or if it sho w cracks or fr ay ed edges.
11 F or best results — Tine Blades should be kept • reasonably sharp. The Tine Blade can be sharpened on a grinding wheel.
